Biografija muftije dr. Mevlud-ef. Dudića, predsjednika Mešihata IZ-e u Srbiji Muftija prof. dr. Mevlud ef. Dudić rođen je 21.07.1966. godine u selu Biohane, općina Tutin, od oca Huseina i majke Muške, kao drugo po redu od šestoro djece. Osnovnu školu završio je u rodnom mjestu, a srednju Alaudin medresu u Prištini od 1981. do 1985. godine sa odličnim uspjehom, nakon čega upisuje Fakultet islamskih nauka u Sarajevu (tadašnji Islamsko-teološki fakultet) koji studira od 1985. do 1989. godine. Nakon toga odlazi na odsluženje vojnog roka u Mostaru u trajanju od jedne godine. Godine 1991. Vrhovno starješinstvo Islamske zajednice šalje ga na jednosemestralno usavršavanje u poznatom Univerzitetu Al-Azhar u Kairu. Godine 2001. odlazi u SAD u Virdžiniju na naučno usavršavanje u oblasti „nenasilnog rješavanja sukoba“, a 2008. godine u Njujork, Vašington, Teksas i Čikago u oblasti „kako biti uspješan lider“. Magistrirao je na Internacionalnom univerzitetu 2005. godine na temu „Historijat i razvoj Gazi Isa-begove medrese u Novom Pazaru“, a doktorirao 2007. na temu „Uloga sibjan mekteba u očuvanju islama u Sandžaku“. Profesionalnu karijeru započinje u Odboru Islamske zajednice Tutin 1991. godine na poslovima vaiza, imama i hatiba, da bi honorarno bio angažovan u Medresi Novom Pazaru 1992. godine gdje je predavao grupu vjerskih predmeta: kiraet, fikh, akaid, hadis i imamet. Od 1994. godine u potpunosti je prešao na rad u Medresi kada je i imenovan za njenog direktora na čijem čelu je ostao do 2006., tj. punih 12 godina. Godine 2006. imenovan je za dekana Fakulteta za islamske studije, a 2008. za rektora Internacionalnog univerziteta u Novom Pazaru na čijem čelu je bio u dva mandata, tj. do 2014. Iste godine u januaru mjesecu izabran je za predsjednika Mešihata Islamske zajednice u Srbiji, i glavnog muftiju. Na izborima 2018 godine i 2023 godine, muftija dr. Mevlud-ef. Dudić ponovno je izabran za predsjednika Mešihata Islamske zajednicemu Srbiji, muftiju za Sandžak i Srbiju. Od 1990. do 1993. godine bio je član Sabora Islamske zajednice za Kosovo, Srbiju i Vojvodinu, sve do osnivanja Mešihata Islamske zajednice Sandžaka 1993. godine. Od 1996. do 2014. godine bio je član Sabora IZ-e u Bosni i Hercegovini, a od 2010. do 2014. i potpredsjednik Sabora. U dva mandata bio je zamjenik predsjednika Mešihata. Od 2001. do 2009. godine bio je član Vladine komisije za uvođenje i sprovođenje vjeronauke u obrazovnom sistemu Srbije, nakon čega je smijenjen. Godine 2010. izabran je za predsjednika Bošnjačke kulturne zajednice, a iste godine za predsjednika Bošnjačkog nacionalnog vijeća. Član je Senata Bošnjačke akademije nauka i umjetnosti od njenog osnivanja 2011. godine, kao i Svjetskog bošnjačkog kongresa od 2012. godine. Član je Izvršnog vijeća Islamske svjetske lige – Rabita od 2014. u Meki, Svjetske unije islamskih učenjaka od 2015. godine u Abu Dabiju, Svjetskog vrhovnog vijćea za Fetve u Kairu, Vijeća za fetve UAE u Abu Dabiju, Unije svjetskih islamskih učenjaka u Dohi, stručni je konsultant Međunarodne akademije fikha u Džedi od 2022. i član Međunarodnog muslimanskog foruma. Uvršten je u 500 najuticajnijih muslimana na svijetu za 2023. godinu. Član je Vijeća muftija Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini. Dobitnik je brojnih priznanja u zemlji i inostranstvu. 2025 godine imenovan je na sjednici Vlade Republike Srbije za člana komisije za vjersku nastavu u R. Srbiji. Napisao je na desetine radova objavljenih u domaćim i svjetskim renomiranim časopisima. Održao je na stotine tribina i predavanja u zemlji i inostranstvu. Obišao je sve bošnjačke džemate u Austriji, Švicarskoj, Njemačkoj, Luxemburgu i Njujorku. Predaje na Fakultetu za islamske studije i redovan je profesor iz oblasti da've i komunikologije na osnovnim i doktorskim studijama. Govori arapski, engleski i albanski jezik. Oženjen je i otac četvoro djece – dvije kćerke i dva sina. Biography Mufti Prof. Dr. Mevlud Ef. Dudić was born on July 21, 1966, in the village of Biohane, Tutin municipality, as the second of six children to parents Husein and Muška. He completed his elementary education in his hometown and attended Alaudin Madrasa in Priština from 1981 to 1985 with excellent results. Subsequently, he enrolled in the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo (then known as the Islamic-Theological Faculty), where he studied from 1985 to 1989. Following his studies, he served one year of military service in Mostar. In 1991, the Supreme Council of the Islamic Community sent him for a semester-long training at the renowned Al-Azhar University in Cairo. In 2001, he traveled to the United States, specifically Virginia, for scientific training in “Nonviolent Conflict Resolution.” In 2008, he furthered his studies in New York, Washington, Texas, and Chicago, focusing on “How to Be a Successful Leader.” He obtained his master's degree from the International University in 2005 with a thesis on the “History and Development of Gazi Isa-beg's Madrasa in Novi Pazar.” Subsequently, in 2007, he earned his doctorate with a dissertation on the “Role of Sibyan Schools in Preserving Islam in Sandžak.” His professional career commenced in 1991 in the Board of the Islamic Community in Tutin, where he served as a preacher, imam, and khatib. Additionally, he worked part-time in the Novi Pazar Madrasa in 1992, where he taught various religious subjects such as Qur'anic recitation, jurisprudence, creed, hadith, and leadership. Since 1994, he has been fully engaged in the Novi Pazar Madrasa, where he was appointed as its director until 2006, serving a full 12-year term. In 2006, he was appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, and in 2008, he became the rector of the International University in Novi Pazar, leading for two terms until 2014. In January of the same year, he was elected as the President of the Mešihat of the Islamic Community in Serbia. From 1990 to 1993, he was a member of the Assembly of the Islamic Community for Kosovo, Serbia, and Vojvodina until the establishment of the Mešihat of the Islamic Community of Sandžak in 1993. From 1996 to 2014, he was a member of the Assembly of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving as its Vice President from 2010 to 2014. He served twice as the Deputy President of the Mešihat. From 2001 to 2009, he was a member of the Government Commission for the Introduction and Implementation of Religious Education in the Educational System of Serbia, after which he was dismissed. In 2010, he was elected as the President of the Bosniak Cultural Community and simultaneously as the President of the Bosniak National Council. He has been a member of the Senate of the Bosniak Academy of Sciences and Arts since its establishment in 2011, and a member of the World Bosniak Congress since 2012. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Islamic World League – Rabita since 2014 in Mecca, the World Union of Islamic Scholars since 2015 in Abu Dhabi, the World Supreme Council for Fatwas in Cairo, the Fatwa Council of the UAE in Abu Dhabi, the Union of World Islamic Scholars in Doha, and serves as a specialist consultant to the International Fiqh Academy in Jeddah since 2022 and a member of the International Muslim Forum. He was included in the list of the 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World for the year 2023. He is a member of the Muftis Council of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has received numerous awards both domestically and internationally. He has authored dozens of papers published in domestic and international prestigious journals. He has conducted hundreds of forums and lectures both domestically and internationally. He has visited all Bosniak jamaats in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, and New York. He teaches at the Faculty of Islamic Studies and is a regular professor in the fields of da'wah and communication at both undergraduate and doctoral levels. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and Albanian. He is married and the father of four children – two daughters and two sons.
